What is included in the cost of shipping?
DOMESTIC: To get hundreds of individual Kickstarter rewards out in a timely manner, we will hire additional staff dedicated to reward distribution, which includes freight receiving, inspection, outgoing postage labeling and packaging. We don’t like delays, and we’re sure you don’t either, so your small shipping fee allows us to bring in the temporary support to ensure your rewards are delivered ASAP!
INTERNATIONAL: ZeroHour will now be using ePacket with Delivery Confirmation or FedEx for most international shipments on this and future projects. For our neighboring countries such as Mexico & Canada we will ship by USPS. Our costs start at a minimum $15 ($25 for Australia/New Zealand), plus additional staff to expedite distribution (as discussed above), and separate customs forms and handling for each country.
We will be marking the packages as gifts (since they are rewards for backing our project), so there should be no additional customs or duty fees on your end.
FLAT RATE: If you back multiple APEX pens or add ZeroHour flashlights, we will NOT increase your shipping costs. In many cases it will still cost us more, but we’re trying our best to keep projects feasible for our backers.
SHIP ORDER: Items will ship out in the order received, so early birds first, regular orders after, backer #1 before backer #2 etc. We are projecting all orders to go out within days of receiving the product. If our backer numbers go sky high (over 2,000), we’ll let you know if there will be any delays between batches.

How can we order additional pens or add-on accessories?
We want the post-Kickstarter experience to be really easy for our backers, so we’ll be using a post-campaign fulfillment website, BackerKit. You will be able to confirm your pledge reward and shipping address, and add additional pens or accessories (e.g. extra Fisher space pen refills) at special Kickstarter rates. We’ll then ship everything together with your pen reward! We’ll update with next steps for using the service when our campaign ends.

Are the Fisher Space ink cartridges that come with APEX easily replaceable?
Yes, Fisher Space refills are typically available anywhere you would find refillable pen ink cartridges. We will sell them through ZeroHourXD.com, and you’ll also have the opportunity to add extra refills to your order after the campaign.
The good news is, Fisher Space refills should give you about 15,000 feet (4600 meters) of ink, depending on your writing style. That’s 350% longer than a standard ball point cartridge!

How do I upgrade my pen reward to titanium?
To upgrade to titanium, simply check the upgrade amount specified in the pledge description (either $20 or $30) and manually adjust your total pledge with that added amount.
For example, if you want to upgrade the $59 APEX pen from aluminum to titanium (+$20):
Click on the $59 reward level Specify your country to calculate shipping Add $20 to that amount.
TITANIUM PENS For most international backers, your pledge total will be $94 ($59 aluminum pen + $15 international shipping + $20 upgrade to titanium).
For domestic backers, your pledge total will be $84 ($59 aluminum pen + $5 domestic shipping + $20 upgrade to titanium).
TITANIUM PEN SETS For most international backers, your pledge total will be $134 ($89 aluminum pen set + $15 international shipping + $30 upgrade to titanium set).
For domestic backers, your pledge total will be $124 ($89 aluminum pen set + $5 domestic shipping + $30 upgrade to titanium set).
At the end of the campaign, backers will be invited to confirm their shipping address and rewards/upgrades through a site called BackerKit, so you’ll have another chance to make sure you receive the correct reward.
You will also be able to purchase additional pen rewards or accessories on BackerKit and have everything shipped together with your original reward. If you pledge for aluminum but want to upgrade to titanium after the campaign, you can upgrade on BackerKit too!

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
